life recently was in a midst of projects, assignments, quizzes, and job hunting.

 

went to MOE teaching interview yesterday. prepare it since wednesday (actually 1 night only). my dear dear yeshin trying to help by asking me possible questions. wah, she very lihai lor... her questions really came out. mingzhi even sent me his and huachuan's interview questions, mingyuan also provided me with his questions, though not totally relevent, but quite helpful. then come to the interview part, MOE really doing a mass recruitment ler. quite some people are there waiting for their turn when i arrived. but thanks God! it is His grace that i m peaceful all the way, din panic. or maybe i got a little bit nervous in the morning when i woke up, but i pray to God: if You want me to become teacher, teach me what i should say; if You do not want, please just let me screw it up, so i know do not need to put hope on it. then i become very peace and happily wait for my interview. at the end, i din screw it up but din do as expected also. following is the questions i got, for ur reference if u r going for tht interview also.

1)      Why are you applying for this teaching position?

2)      If you are given a group of normal tech students, who are not very attentive. How you are going to teach them computer application?

3)      How are you going to teach mathematics?

4)      What are the important criteria for a teacher?

5)      What you want to be in 10 years later?

6)      Do you know what kind of student you are going to teach?

7)      Is student’s result very important to you?

8)      Do you notice any moving trend for Singapore education system?

 

hehe... should say a bit about our CVCF last dazu on thu nite. it was a nice one. everybody stayed up until around 11pm to enjoy our last great supper. wah, the supper we had tht nite really was the best one. thanks for those brothers and sisters who voluntered and spent time to prepared. becoz of this supper, felt worthwhile to join cvcf for the past 4 years. xin fu de gan jue... at last, we din cry. totally different atmosphere from last year last dazu. how come we r so happy to leave cvcf huh? hope those who stay, continue to maintain the love in cvcf and the vision we had for so many years: to share our love to those who speak chinese. of coz, we r bilingual, u can join us to experience this love if u cannot speak chinese but at least understand a bit chinese.
